Brass Y-Strainers are recommended for a variety of water service lines, including residential and commercial irrigation, swimming pools, and cooling tower water. Designed to protect fragile, delicate equipment like backflow preventers and regulators, the BYS filters sediment that often causes premature failure. The BYS comes standard with a high quality 20 mesh stainless steel screen designed to catch debris without buildup, can withstand a temperature rating of 180°F and pressure rating of 200 psi.
