The XC Hybrid Controller delivers extensive power without the plug. Built with efficient water management features, the XC Hybrid operates DC-latching solenoids using solar energy, ambient light or battery power. XC Hybrid can also be powered with a 24VAC plug-in adapter using DC-latching solenoids. Ready for both indoor or outdoor installations, the XC Hybrid is a 6-station plastic model and is the right solution for a wide range of residential and commercial applications including residential areas, parks, gardens, roadway medians, and roundabouts. With ‘Easy Retrieve’ memory backup and on-board, non-volatile memory, you’ve got the assurance to recall all of the controller’s watering programs.

XC HYBRID COMPATIBLE WITH SOLAR PANEL KIT

The Solar Panel eliminates the need for batteries and provides maintenance-free operation by harnessing the sun’s energy or ambient light to fully power the controller 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for years on end. This “eco-innovations” alternative is more environmentally friendly and saves on battery costs.

EASY RETRIEVE™ MEMORY

A manual back-up utility that stores complete controller scheduling and setup information in back-up memory. This allows the saved watering schedule to be restored at any time. This can be used to set a controller back to its initial settings after tampering or at the beginning of a new season.

ONE TOUCH MANUAL START AND ADVANCE

Allows any program to be started manually by simply pressing and holding the right arrow key. Advance through stations in a program by pressing the right arrow key again.

RAIN SENSOR BYPASS

Toggle switch that controls the input signal from the weather sensor (Rain-Clik, Freeze-Clik, Wind-Clik, etc). When the switch is set to “Bypass” the controller will ignore the signal from the sensor and irrigate normally.

PROGRAMMABLE RAIN DELAY

The Programmable Rain Delay feature incorporates a user specified number of days to keep the controller in the OFF mode, then allows for the system to automatically revert back to scheduled irrigation. This will prevent watering during an extended period of inclement weather, but will resume watering automatically without requiring a return visit to the controller. The controller displays the number of days remaining before watering resumes.

NON-VOLATILE MEMORY

This feature offers protection against unreliable power, retaining current time, date, and program data.

GLOBAL SEASONAL ADJUSTMENT

This feature allows for quick adjustments to irrigation run times through a percentage scale. During peak season, set the seasonal adjustment to 100%. If weather conditions require less water, enter the appropriate percentage value (i.e. 50%) to cut down irrigation run times without the need to adjust each station in the program.

DELAY BETWEEN STATIONS

Users can program a delay between stations as the controller advances from one station to the next. This delay can range from a few seconds (to permit slow-closing valves additional time to close) to a much longer period of time (to allow pressure tanks time to recharge), based on user requirements.

SENSOR PROGRAMMABILITY

The ability to specify which program will be shut down in response to a specific sensor alarm. This allows programs unaffected by the sensor to continue automatic operations.
