The Pro Weather Station is used in conjunction with the K-Rain SiteMaster™ 2-Wire Decoder Controller. It provides the most accurate calculation of evaporative transpiration (ET) and hence the most accurate control of your irrigation schedule. The resultant evaporative transpiration (ET) value can be used to control the individual programs you select.
The complete weather station for irrigation applications includes the
following sensors:
- Rain Gauge
- Temperature
- Light - Solar and UV
- Humidity Sensor
- Wind speed
- Wind direction
The SiteMaster™ 2-Wire Decoder Controller contains terminals to directly hard-wire the Pro Weather Station to the controller. The controller uses inputs from the weather station to calculate evaporative transpiration (ET) and modify run times based on a programmable baseline.
