Yes it can. This controller will just have a 10 minute short duration time wheel versus the 2114 which has a 24 hour time wheel. The 2214 is perfect for nursery and other mist applications with a 10 minute programmable dial, a wide variety of timing periods and multiple start times.
The inner electrical components are the same, the functionality of the controller is just different than the 2114.
