The S118-30 is a telescopic repair coupler so it has the ability to extend out. One end will be 3'' Socket and the other end will be 3'' spigot. So you may need a 429-030 for that spigot end to connect it to 3'' pipe on that end.
We also have the CPC3000 which is a compression coupling and both ends will slip over 3'' PVC pipe without having to have any couplings or adapters.
