Yes it will! Just simply replace it with current faceplate you have and you will now have the WiFi capability.
Will the “SmartLine Retrofit WiFi (Front Panel Only) - SL1600-WIFI work with a Backplane “SL 1600” Weathermatic - SmartLine Retrofit Panel w/ SmartLink WiFi (Front Panel Only) - SL1600-WIFI-Panel
System is circa year 2003. It is not marked with “SL 1600D” label on Backplane.
